Celebrating Light and Love for 27 years

The holidays are a time of tradition, family and community spirit. Since 1984, Hospice SLO's Light up a Life program has been celebrated by thousands of individuals and families during the month of December as a way to remember their loved ones.

Each year individuals are invited to make a donation to help light a Hospice Memorial Tree in their community. Tree lighting ceremonies take place in 11 locations throughout the county including: San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Atascadero, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, Cambria, Nipomo, Avila Beach, Heritage Ranch, and a new ceremony this year to remember the loving pets we’ve lost.
